Joe and Ash are best friends. Ash is the leader, Joe the one who follows. Then one night after a party, Joe and Ash come a across a holdall, seemingly abandoned by the side of the road. They open it up and find £20,000 in cash. Of course they're going to hand it straight to the police. Aren't they? Or is all that money just a bit too tempting? And that is precisely when the trouble starts Jim Carrington has already established himself as a fine writer for teens with his debut novel, Inside My Head. With In the Bag, he shows how horribly easy it is for two teenage boys to make a car crash of their lives, through an unlucky combination of being in the wrong place at the wrong time and making a handful of wrong decisions.
Editorial : Praise for Inside My Head: 'One of the most thought provoking and compelling books I have read for a long time. Mr Carrington obviously knows his stuff, because this book is utterly believable. He tackles bullying in a way that I haven't seen in literature before. And it is so perfectly written that you actually feel the sting of every taunt. There should be a copy of this book in every secondary school library' Book Zone 4 Boys 'Wonderfully honest and tremendously tense easy to read but cleverly written - recommended' Thebookbag Praise for In the Bag: 'A pacy, tense story that is a page-turner from the very beginning In the Bag is a thoroughly good read and teenagers, especially boys, will love it' TES magazine 'To say this is a page-turner is an understatement This is a journey of discovery, high-octane excitement and eventually pure, living terror' Flipside magazine
Like the extra large size.. It is an amazing story. I don't think Packer needed to put his war-time diary in the the book--a section that I basically perused. Chased by a mountain lion, Baskin tells him to "settle down" and gives him the book she has been reading. Those who like pulpy gunfights and hurling sticks of dynamite at Cthulhu critters should look elsewhere, but those seeking a rewarding investigation and roleplay playground will enjoy this masterpiece.. All the tabs are clearly written in a style even most beginners would understand. I read and reread this book many times. I have used this story for many years and with many groups. Once again, the Good Knight helps those cute little dragons - this time with their colds. Thanks Tony. And ever since I bought it I've been so confident, I notice crying out signs with my friends cars, I can go to my mechanic or any auto shop and ask questions they've never heard before, and be on the same page. My 2 and 5 year olds love this book.
