Chapter 16 is a delightful (but necessarily brief) introduction to twentieth century innovations in number theory. Of course, if the photo is posed so that shoes appear, more than a few of those pictured are wearing Tod's, but it truly comes across more as very appropriate (the subjects are generally casually dressed). Not every book is meant for every reader. THAT'S ALL I CAN TELL YOU.. Continued fractions and Pell's equation (or "Fermat's equation", as Pell was a mathematical fraud, according to E.T. So many books today use only one training method or school of thought, what is special about this author is that she recognizes that all training techniques have merit and she uses the ones that best fit the situation and gives alternate methods as well.
Great reference book to have.. I highly recommend this book.. Without sketching, sketching and more sketching, I would not be able to create the work that I do.
