The biogrophical sketch and other articles are scholarly works that touch on the artists influences and influence on Chinese artists. Even though there are people who disagree with me, I think that he revolutionized Chinese art.. I love to look through design books and this one does not disappoint. This is a well made coffee table book that is a catalog of works shown at the Denver museum. Hsu took those same qualities and infused them into his style of horse painting. arrived early - reasonable price.. High quality paper, takes pencil or ink beautifully. I enjoyed this book very much, there's a lot of use of modern elements combined with rustic and traditional ones that makes for an updated yet timeless look.this is not a fuzzy, girly take on decorating,it's a more masculine, edited look with beautiful colors and textures and terrific style. If you are someone with a tendency for a certain style, this book will make you think outside the box and you'll want to color outside the lines.Highl
