I fell in love with the Damiano trilogy shortly thereafter and have read it many times since. This book provides an interesting summary of this man's extraordinary life, including his famous 40 and 50 mile day hikes!. Suited for study of basic electricity. It's not common to judge an autobiography as a 'gripping page turner' but this is one such.
Also an interesting historical document, dealing with key aspects of life at a time when the old empire was crumbling and vital questions were being asked of those in and around 'the establishment'.
Highly recommended.. At $100, I decided to wait until the price went down a little and finally was able to find it for around $40 with shipping. The Belly of the Wolf is 6.75 hours long.. If you can make it to chapter 3, you'll have a good feel for his writing. Have written competency based individualized lessons for major portions of the book.. The book was brand new. So if you see one cheap, GET IT!
