We can sit in bed together and look at just one page forever until my son is ready to turn the page. This book is a fast and easy intro to gtk and gnome programming. During their time together, they are very honest and open with each other, due to the fact that they are strangers, it is only one night and no names have been exchanged. I keep reading the entire book with optimism that Steve would pull something out of the hat - but as suspected this never eventuated. If I couldn't read and was 12 I'd probably enjoy flipping through this for the tits and gore.
The story: the characters are on the spectrum of 'rednecks i don't care about' all the way to 'boringly mindless cult figures.' The story had the seed of a good idea, but otherwise got old a little quickly. But it doesn't have ripped or loose pages so five star.. getting back to basics is what i needed as i have not engaged in basket weaving for many years. It talks about how to find out what kind of products people will buy,
