Fatal Experiments (Call of Cthulhu Horror Roleplaying, 1920s, Chaosium# 2328)
Editorial :
The Haynes book has good technical details.. This last drawback is partially due to the book being published in 1994, when quantum calculations on surfaces was still somewhat rare in the scientific literature.
In all, I would not buy this book, but would wait for a newer edition.. One reason I like this book is that it emphasizes cohomology rather than schemes, since I believe cohomology is much more important for most geometers than is scheme theory. The more I drove, the more I found myself wanting to know more so I could be more self-sufficient when it came to managing my car, so I searched for answers until I found this book. I particularly liked the sections applying Banach's Fixed Point Theorem to the solution of differential equations and linear equations. Quaint style not well edited but shows older attitudes among US citizens at time of Canal construction.. Unlike Attenborough's book, the format of Macdonald's book exploits the advantage of using a book over a movie
