Its one of those things you can't resist like a very intricately described dish on a menu that you know can't live up to the hype but you order anyways and walk away dissapointed.
The first thing that struck me about this book is how poorly made it is. Thank you, Nicole, for sharing you. The overall feel of the book is closer to that of A Place Somewhere than it is to Falling Colours, if one were to make a comparison.
Casting Shadows delves deeper into the “vision painter profession” than Falling Colours did, and we learn about its underbelly—the secrets behind the brilliant profession invented and imagined by RJ Samuel and the focus of this series. I wanted more. The information is easy to relate to and absorb. If you have the first edition, save your money - it's basically the same book with only a chapter or two of new information that's extremely general. Maybe even a little popular mechanics thrown in for good measure. The idea was clever -
