If your purpose is to program IEC languages today, skip this book.. While Billy is very clearly against certain elements in society, he doesn't take himself too seriously. :o) My only disappointment is that permission is not granted to use the patterns on crafters items that are sold at craft sales, which is what I would like to do. If you don't trust the negative reviews that you are reading about this book then I recommend that you buy this book off of Ebay.
