Within the book the reader will find a fascinating look at political repression and its consequences. This is precisely the effect it had on me. Purposeful, intricate design of structure and function are discussed. That kind of pulled me out of the book a few times, but it's a pretty good young reader graphic novel.
I received a review copy of this graphic novel from Papercutz and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Its world, characters, and plot are too simple to capture the imagination of most adults. Parents will find it a fun, satisfying read-aloud, too.. That Nazhuret and the Duke become companions is only hinted at at the end of the book athough in a way that leaves no doubt in the reader's mind.
I was a bit unsatisfied with the ending which seemed a bit hasty and pat. I usually don't write reviews but I felt that I had to warn people about Kevin Trudeau and his book. And the music is worth it. Forster, Henry James, Plato, Socrates (the list is endless) i
