The righting of an ancient wrong. A future foretold. The bands tattooed around her wrists are laced with a dragon’s green and more—destiny preordained…

Mind Thief. Gift Thief. Feared for an ability to seize another’s thoughts and powers with a touch. San Francisco tattoo artist Etaín is such an elf—and the time has come for her to learn how to use her talents.

Close to the transformation and about to discover her place in a supernatural world, Etaín once thought intimacy and permanence were impossible. Now she’s bound to Cathal, the son of an Irish mobster. And she’s also claimed by Eamon, an Elven lord with powerful gifts of his own.

Eamon is determined to keep her safe—from others as well as herself. But a quest for justice is more than it seems, leaving their future to hinge on choice and magic. On promises made and dangerous bargains.

Brian-book approach as an 'introductory chemical engineering course" by using the equilibrium-staged operations to introduce the student to Materials and Energy Balances.. The more she over-explained, the less we bought the convoluted explanation. What was not shocking was hearing how horrible the hospital is in Cancun! This is one reason I will never travel to Mexico, the emergency doctors saved her life but they also put her in great danger, by not taking the best care of her when she was first brought to the hospital. In Fire Sea, Haplo and Alfred use such a spell to replicate enough food for a large group of people. And though this book is heavily footnoted, researched, and extensive in its coverage of known and less known writers, it is eminently readable! Lewis is not afraid to let us know when his "opinion" versus "cold fact" is being stated; he allows us to grow to understand his method of decision making and is generous in his quotations of passages that support his claims.
