Editorial : About the Author Stella on Science is Amber Bennett's first children's book. After witnessing her young daughter's love of reading and science and noticing there were not many options in children's fiction in the areas of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), Amber decided to write her own book and Stella on Science was born. Amber has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Human Resources Management from Saint Leo University. Amber is a Florida native and currently lives in sunny Tampa, Florida. Being a bit of a nomad, Amber has also lived in the Cayman Islands and Bend, Oregon. When Amber is not writing children's books, she spends her free time with her amazing husband Kevin, and their children, daughter Stella Rose and son Logan Kai.
