There are many myths that justify drinking and or drunkenness. The classics are the following: I drive better when I have a few drinks under my belt. I can last longer when I'm having sex. I am not an alcoholic as I only get drunk when I mix drinks. You should never drink brown liquor because that's what bums drink. I held onto these types of sayings because I was ashamed of the truth. The truth was the fiction I set afoot in my mind to justify my behavior. The stories contained in this book are excerpts of many, many stories I have heard in the rooms of AA all around the world. The real truth is that AA allowed me to have a life that is alcohol free, so I could set the record straight about the fiction that lies about the truth.
I found it to be a bit quirky but, in the end, a great way to approach so many topics. Have been buying this for many years. Looked interesting though.. I was dependent on my father when it came to everything from dashboard lights to oil changes. Lead With Livecast is a great source for those interested in broadcasting their book, blogs or any live events into an audio or video format. I don't know if it's because I downloaded to my phone or if there's a glitch but there are no illustrations included with the text so only an experienced weaver would be able to really follow the instructions.
No pictures at all so there's no way to know what a basket looks like before starting to weave it.
