Mike Ray is a national treasure--he has a knack for making a difficult and sometimes tedious subject enjoyable.

HOWEVERthere are a few nasty errors that completely throw the reader for a loop. It does tie up several subplots, and also ends the series on a defiantly anarchic note, as Jack Frost frees himself from the confines of the comic itself. Of course, if you want to learn quantum mechanics, this isn't the book to begin with but rather a very nice mathematical supplement.

I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn functional analysis.. As well, she is an enthusiastic cook and relies on each of these four staple crops in her own diet, so she includes some excellent recipes and cookery information, as well. Yes, I'm odd enough to enjoy the "tactile feel" of a good book :)
