As he says, space travel is not just about technology, it also about biology. As someone who adored Uy's first graphic novel series Feather as a kid, I bought Titan's Tears with the hope that the story would be as deep and well-crafted as his earlier ones. As a Kindle the format was impossible to use.. Her love interest, Ashley, is also introduced in Falling Colours, and there is a good dose of humor to lighten the drama.
Kiran is not really allowed to use her talent as a painter because women are forbidden by the laws governing Vision Painters. And I think she accomplishes this.
I would recommend it to both those on the spectrum, as well as others who just want to understand their autistic friends or children. This is an impressive book.
