Roger Took's background, conviction and subsequent suicide aside, this is a wonderful book filled with information of a kind that is difficult to find. I can write The whole book in a half page or less. The book does contain many examples of humor, most of it intended, but some accidental. This is highly debateable, and would provide the basis for a good discussion, however, Law seems to think this is obviously true, and not open to debate.
He repeatedly calls for dialogue and discussion, but he also presents his arguments in a way which suggests that if you disagree with his premises, you are not a proper Christian, and probably a racist as well. The book very much answered just about all the questions I had.. It's written in verse, describing how "momma sheep" get their 10 little sheep to fall asleep. Odds are you won't read this book in a linear fashion--certain chapters will prove more useful than others according to what you are working on at any given time. My husband
