The book is organized geographically and actully includes "Seattle East," which is really the cities of Bellevue, Kirkland and surrounding suburbs; Bellingham (north of Seattle); Olympia and Tacoma (south); and Eugene, Oregon in addition to Seattle and Portland. The premise is original, the world building is supreme, and the writing is great! Dragons, evil wizard, new friend just the right ingredients for a great children's fantasy book! I loved the book and highly recommend it to middle grade kids and up! This well written and imaginative tale will keep both the kids and adults captivated for sure!.
