St. Birgitta of Sweden (1303-1373, canonized 1391) was one of the most charismatic and influential female visionaries of the later Middle Ages. Altogether, she received some 700 revelations, dealing with subjects ranging from meditations on the human condition, domestic affairs in Sweden, and ecclesiastical matters in Rome, to revelations in praise of the Incarnation and devotion to the Virgin. Her Revelations, collected and ordered by her confessors, circulated widely throughout Europe and long after her death. Many eminent individuals, including Cardinal Juan Torquemada, Jean Gerson, and Martin Luther, read and commented on her writings, which influenced the spiritual lives of countless individuals. Birgitta was also the founder of a new monastic order, which still exists today. She is the patron saint of Sweden, and in 2000 was declared (with Catherine of Siena and Edith Stein) co-patroness of Europe.Birgitta's Revelations present her as a commanding and dauntless

Editorial : Searby and Morris have again given us an excellent resource for the study of late medieval spirituality; once again, I am extremely grateful for their tireless efforts in bringing the complete works of Birgitta of Sweden into an elegant and supple English translation. Steven Rozenski, Sixteenth Century Journal

The illustrations by Rod Ruth are beautiful. This book gives GREAT Do's and Dont's when dealing with someone on the spectrum. Both Marley and Tosh died relatively young, and Wailer has become a bit of a recluse, so the book covers mainly the 1960s and early 1970s.

Colin Grant is the son of Jamaican immigrants to Great Britain and a perfectly acceptable writer. She's 2, for God's sake, and has her whole life ahead of her to deal with being female, trying on what it means to be a girl or woman, and deciding if the roles her sex assigns her are right for her or not. Monika and her wonderful co authors have created a supportive, easily applicable treasure trove of ideas, simple steps and powerful exercises to get their readers freed up, and back in the driver seat to achievement. The book is long winded drawn out and is padded of his so called success and expertise. Kershner obviously has a grasp on what a student pilot goes through to understand the technical jargon and concept
